The Brief.
Tattoo artist Liv Kimball sought a visual identity and website for her studio, Livin’ Designs, that would resonate with a wide-ranging audience. Her vision was to create a brand that balances strong feminine energy with bold masculinity, embodying inclusivity and timelessness. The challenge was to craft a scalable identity that could support the studio’s growth while standing out in the competitive tattoo industry.
Design Decisions.
Drawing inspiration from iconic fashion brands like Gucci and Prada, we developed a sleek and sophisticated wordmark logo that anchors LIVIN’s identity. The logo’s clean lines and modern aesthetic project confidence and versatility, making it adaptable across various platforms and applications.
To elevate the studio’s online presence, we organized a photoshoot to provide a library of professional brand photography in both full-color and monochromatic styles. This cohesive imagery allows Liv to maintain a consistent brand voice across her website and social media platforms. The result is a refined visual identity and digital presence that not only captures the spirit of Livin’ Designs, but also positions it as a bold and enduring brand for a versatile demographic.
