The Brief.
SimpleCom wanted their annual sales kickoff (SKO) event to inspire peak performance and energize their team for the year ahead. The event’s theme, “Optimize to Outperform,” set the tone for a high-impact experience that needed an equally bold and cohesive visual identity. Our challenge was to design a custom brand kit that seamlessly tied together announcements, presentation decks, merchandise, motion graphics, and on-site signage— creating an immersive and memorable event.
Design Decisions.
We began by crafting a custom logotype inspired by the precision and energy of high-performance racing. This set the foundation for the event’s dynamic aesthetic. The team-building activity at the Ford Performance Racing School served as a focal point, inspiring illustrations that tied the event theme to the SimpleCom experience.
A standout graphic featured the SimpleCom team as a pit crew, with a Wi-Fi router as the centerpiece and cables feeding back to a Mustang Dark Horse—meticulously illustrated from photography of the exact car they drove. Supporting graphics built on this theme, incorporating sleek, race-inspired elements and vibrant accents, ensuring every touchpoint— from marketing materials to event signage— felt cohesive and energized. The result was an event identity that embodied the drive to optimize and outperform.
